Cléo has been painting murals commercially and residentially for 10 years. Her style is versatile and she loves working with people to create the type of imagery that uplift and inspire all who see it.
Cultural Centres / Museums
I painted this mural for a business owner who wanted to express the historical significance of his building as a heritage site. He asked me to paint the view that would have been seen by people through his own windows at the turn of the century in Toronto.
Theatres / Music Venues
I painted this 1920’s centric mural for the iconic Rialto Theatre in Montreal. The owner wanted a mural that captured how important his massive, magnificent theatre had been for almost a century in supporting the performing arts and cinema. The Rialto was the first theatre in Montreal to show the ‘moving pictures’ in 1929.
Nurseries / kids playrooms
I painted this mural for a school with the intention of surrounding young, developing minds with the healing imagery of a beautiful, natural forested environment.

I enjoy painting home nurseries and kids bedrooms or playrooms. When painting murals for children’s rooms I use soft, calming imagery like a night sky or mountains as a background and then add fun, quirky little characters throughout. These are some of my favourite murals to paint!
Cafes
I painted this mural for the owner of an Italian cafe called Si Espresso in toronto. He had grown up in Italy and loved Vespa scooters ~ the cafe was filled with his antique miniature Vespa collection! I painted a life sized scooter on plywood, lacquered it with a varnish to protect it from the elements, then cut it out and mounted it above the cafe next to their sign, adding some painted flourishes on the existing awning.
Community Centres / Schools
I painted this mural for a building owner in the process of starting up an alternative school. The scene depicts a small crowd gathered around a breakdancer busking, and in the background a city where every roof has a garden on it. I want kids today to imagine a world where all cities take a strong environmental initiative and build more ‘green roofs’ and ‘green spaces’ where people can connect in healthy, creative ways outdoors while feeling safe in urban centres.
Restaurants
I painted this mural for a classy Napoli style restaurant in Montreal named ‘Pizza St. Viateur’, situated on one of the city’s most famous streets. It is part of  neighbourhood called ‘le Plateau’ (a must see for anyone visiting Montreal FYI). The Plateau area is a well known ‘artsy’ cultural hub and this little place was a popular spot. In the mural I included the characters I saw walking by and any important architectural landmarks in a fun, cartoonish style. The owners were very pleased, and received lots of positive feedback about it from customers.
Menus / Sandwichboards
I painted this drink menu board for an Ethiopian restaurant called Nunu’s on Queen st. In downtown Toronto. The owner  made it clear that he wanted a style that was in line with his restaurant’s existing decor and sign outside. I painted the boarder of his menu board with chalkboard paint in a brown that complimented his sand coloured walls and dark wood counters and furniture, making sure to copy the font of his sign outside.

I painted these sandwich boards for a gluten free restaurant in Kensington Market, Toronto. The owner asked me to paint something different and eye catching so I used bright, loud colours to contrast the black of the board and made them funky and unique looking to draw as much attention and business as possible from patrons and passers by. He has received many compliments on them and always gives me a gluten free treat when I stop by!
